We had a huge standing water problem in our backyard after our neighbors house was built and the builder refused to correct the grade of the yard which in turn ruined the grading in our yard. Gibbs Excavating was absolutely amazing and was able to properly regrade our entire backyard. Pricing was fair and the communication was perfect. I felt involved the entire time and was updated almost everyday about what was going to be done. I highly recommend Gibbs Excavating and Grading.

Contacted Ray about a septic issue here at my house in mt.juliet. He was a very knowledgeable guy and came out that afternoon. We discussed options and went with relaying a new line from house to tank. He got it scheduled and knocked it out in no time. I recently hired Gibbs Landscaping to handle some significant drainage issues on my property. My sump pump was engaging every time there was a heavy rain and parts of my backyard looked like a marsh. Ray Gibbs surveyed my issues and came up with a proposal that included underground downspouts and a French drain and additional graded dirt along my foundation. His approach was similar to what had been suggested to me by two other companies I had come out to my house for estimates, but Gibbs' customer service and pricing won me over. The crew worked diligently on my yard for several days with great attention to detail. The finished product looks great and it puts my mind at ease knowing water is now being pulled away from my home and my yard still looks nice. As a single female homeowner, I appreciate that I was treated with respect and as someone knowledgeable about the issues facing my home . . . I don't always get that. I highly recommend Gibbs Landscaping, particularly to address any drainage/grading/water issues you may be experiencing!

Gibbs removed a bunch of roots, stumps, and vines on my backyard. Graded, seeded, and strawed both areas and did a fantastic job!! My neighbors commented on how much better the areas looked. Highly recommend!!!

In April 2018 we used Ray Gibbs to correct major grading issues in our backyard. Our lame and shameless builder purposely left a huge trench that held water in the middle of our backyard. Ray spent two whole days grooming and manicuring our yard with his equipment to not only improve the overall look of the yard, but also to rid us of the nasty ditch that held water. He came highly recommended to us by a friend. He showed up on time and took great personal care of our yard. We got quotes from several landscapers, but I'm so happy we selected him to do the job right the first time!
